Which Ryco oil filter to use?

Hi all just a quick question, I've decided to just do oil changes myself as it's a simple enough procedure but I'm a little confused as to which Ryco oil filter I should be using for my car, it's an 05 auto GT so it's the 2.0T engine, the Ryco site specifies a Z709 however next it is a note saying this is a transmission filter? the other one is a z436 so I just wanted to find out which filter is the correct one?
cheers

Might be worth ordering a batch of Genuine Subaru ones from the States. Approx $6ea if you order 6 IIRC.

I wouldn't be using anything but a genuine Subaru oil filter.
Plenty of good reasons to go genuine here.

05 auto GT so it's the 2.0T engine ryco oil filter
All you need to know here
rycofilters.com.au/products/oil
Hope that helps…

The ryco site tells me the z709 for the FT but the z709 is a transmission filter, it's looking like I need the z436 but I think I'll just try get an OEM one from somewhere, any ideas where I can get them from easily? im in western sydney

I thought post facelifts were MY07 onwards?
And your car needs a z436.

Anyway, if you are going to super cheap or auto pro or repco or similar they will have a big book that will tell you which one.
