Deatschwerks 65c Fuel pump on 2.0T

Postby rayray » Mon Aug 20, 2012 11:36 pm

Has anyone fitted this to verify its a direct drop in on the 2.0T, there a few people that have it on the 2.5T, probably no difference but thought I'd ask first?

Was flicking through old posts and saw mine unanswered... the answer was/is yes, as I've fitted one. :)

Oh boy was it.

For the benefit of the forum... my liberty had a bit of sputtering issue after a Kido-Tune where very rarely (like once a month) it would bunny hop a bit, the fuel would seem to cut out completely then immediately come back on... not particularly comfortable while driving. So I popped in the deatschwerks (picked up from Adam at Tuspeed for an extremely fair price I'd say)... problem resolved, car has never hit a dyno so I have no numbers on paper, but doing 0-100 runs on the smart phone, it has managed 5.0s compared to mid 5s after the tune. Most importantly its saved on the embarrassment of looking like an L plater when the car bunny hops around... and that's gotta be worth the price of the pump alone.

It's exactly the same unit. The website is just set up to ask for car at purchase rather than on search...

Drop in kit - no mods needed, fit in existing framework.
