In the post facelift cruise normally flashes when there's a diagnostic trouble code (DTC), I imagine it would be the same for the prefacelifts. Any other lights on the dash on? I'm guessing you can't use cruise control whilst it's flashing?

Didnt try to use cruise control yet. Jist at the tyre factory gettin a nailed i picked up removed from my tyre and noticed it flashing on the way here. Good timing i guess and having my car in the shop saturday to get some work done to it. And no there is no other lights on the dash sorry. If u turn the car off then on again it goes away again to. But it flashed a few days ago as well. Pretty sure my power steering pump is dying. Probably be somethen to do with that. I hope lol

If its a preface gt its probably your o2 sensor. They were notoriously well known to need replacements. Think phat has an improved o2 sensor (assuming that's the problem).

I had a similar problem, turned out to be a brake light problem. One of the wires were shorting. Check to see if your brake lights are ok.

In my case the o2 sensor had gone. And I had the sensor replaced. Wasn't cheap. And this was
