Anybody have any experience with this bad boy on a 2.0? I'm thinking of upgrading from my vf36 in the near future since I know have the forged internals to help handle more power. Anyone know what size injectors would be needed with this and any other supporting mods to get the most out of it. I have a fmic and cai kit I can use with it that I haven't fitted yet as they are probably not needed with the vf36.

I'd upgrade to 1000cc injectors just incase
Although you could probably get away with 600 or 700cc for up to 250atw
Sounds like fun - good luck with it

Looks like a good thing. 71mm comp wheel is getting up there.

i was looking at the scoobyclinic version of these but they charge a lot more for the same turbo that blouch provide them with, i think they call this model the sc42
im thinking the 1000cc injectors might be overkill and might cause idling issues etc if i go too big and they are not needed, if i could get something around 750 i think they would be fine. im not too up to speed on the best injectors and that so i could be wrong

Id1000's are a perfect injector withoutbeing overkill
I run them on my two litre at 35% duty with no idle issues, fuel consumption issues or other problem
Tuner said they're the best injectors he's tuned with due to latency and consistency

I have PE850 side feeds. I think they haven't been as tuner friendly as the ID's.

Do they do the IDs in side feed? Is 1000cc the smallest they do?

I haven't seen ids in side feeds. The power enterprise 850s are as big as I could find in side feed. Well there were some sard 1100s but they were going to be 1200 aud for four. The pe's are apparently base on sard units.
They will work out in the end, but they don't scale at 850 and the latency values aren't as well known as IDs. My injector came with none of that information.

is it easy to convert from side feed to top feed?

If you go down the top feed route dan, I understand that the IDs are rebranded bosch units. We aussies might be able to get them cheaper than over there. Though shipping might be a hassle.

im probably going to stick with side feed and get either DW 740-850cc ones. I was planning a DW 65c fuel pump to but i have heard others talking about upgrading to parallel fuel rails and get and adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Is there any need for them. I just want to be running a safe as i can fueling wise and not leaning out on any cylinders etc

I don't think you would need the reg and rails.
Any drop in injector above 550 would do the trick. If you want to run e85 you would need to go bigger though.
Be interested to see the out come.

Sorry man but for the cost involved it's worth a change to top feed and bigger injectors
Leaves you some space for ethanol based fuel later (don't know what the uk has available in regards ethanol blends)
I personally would go top feed and 1000's for about 1000 dollars including regulator
If you want to keep side feeds then at least go for a 750-850cc injector and add a fuel reg for safety
