TMIC group buy?

Postby tangcla » Tue Dec 04, 2007 10:20 am

Is anyone interested in an AVO or Hyperflow TMIC?

I'm looking at ordering one soon-ish, and I'd like to get a few ordered to get a discount happening, provided Lee @ AVO Melbourne is willing to look after me still :P

The AVO one would be my choice of the two at the moment, it is $900+GST before any discounts, whereas the Hyperflow is $1218.

How soon are you thinking? I'm ready any time.

Just toying up whether I should get AVO TMIC, HKS TMIC, or FMIC...

There are few options... don't really want to get fmic at this stage.

How much is the HKS one, isn't it like $2k+ ?

In terms of when I am thinking to buy, I am not really sure, it depends... got to get myself a Christmas present soon, so if we can get someone else to get another one of these it could well be a new tmic under the tree for me...

The HKS one is $2200ish. It is supposed to be the best one available, however I can't justify $2k as that is already an FMIC+ price. However it DOES come with a carbon fibre cover... hehehe

To me $2200 for FMIC is a ripoff.

Seriously, there would have to be other IC's that would be just as good for half as much.

MY belief is that you will exceed the limitations of the standard turbo before the AVO TMIC.

I'm not looking for a TMIC now.

I have spent more than I wanted to on mods, I need to save.

My car is ok the way it is now.

Just spent 20k on my yard, at least I get that money back
