Fuel system choices

Hi guys,
New to the forum and wanted to get some opinions on the best way to achieve my goals.
I'll give you the run down.... Basically I'm about to add a td05, exhaust to my current FMIC, CAI, boost controller, extreme clutch, etc. I have the usual Walbro 255LPH fuel pump on order and im looking at a turbosmart FPR as well.
My question being is the FPR needed or a worthwhile upgrade? also any other supporting mods you would consider important or worthwhile.
I'm expecting about 200 ATWKW at this stage and that's where I'll prob stop until I do a 2.5t swap/build
Cheers

Adjustable FPR and gauge is a good idea.
it allows you and the tuner to set fuel and adjust pressures to help get the most from the injectors and also scale the fuelling as you require.
what twin-scroll TD05-20G will you be using for 200 ATW

Yeah Thought that would be the best option, I'm not using a twin scroll, I changing it ove for the STI style pipe instead of flange single scroll. My mate had 192ATW with similar mods to me with the standard fuel pump. Tuner just said he run out of fuel.

I went through the same decision process recently.
I ended up getting the TurboSmart FPR1200 and the AVO parallel line kit to install at the same time.
The AVO kit was about $150 and for that money it seemed like good idea given the OEM design can lead to a lean condition on I think injector 4.
I did install ID1000s at the same time too however to set me up for E85 if I feel like going down that path further on.
Just a suggestion.

Yeah I was thinking about that but it's so hard to come by e85 and I'll probably be doing a full rebuild and replacing everything well before e85 is easy to get. I just ordered the fpr800 I doubt I'll need anything bigger with my size injectors

Yeah you should be fine. Did you get the FPR gauge as well. Best to check with you tuner if he needs it too. Otherwise sounds like a wise plan.

I didn't actually I'll have to go and pick one up before I put it in, one more questions seems we are on the topic, someone mentioned they thought the LGT FPR was in the tank? I thought it was on the engine bay side of the firewall.

Not sure on your car but in mine it's on the passenger side firewall in the engine bay.

What size injectors do you plan on running?

Honestly mate The power figure I'm after is achievable on standards believe it or not. I dont think I'll upgrade unless I am going to change to e85

I do believe. Mine was making a number over 180 at the treads (my build thread details things there) but was at 75% duty of the injectors.

yeah I'm expecting to sit at about 70-75% duty, worst case scenario i can just recap the standard injectors.... don't really want to do that though. Turbo, fuel pump and dump pipe have arrived and she is all booked for the 22nd of this month.... i'll post and let everyone know how it went and upload some shots if your lucky haha

OK so the mods are complete! (for now) I just picked my baby up from the mechanic after having the following done:
- TD05 16g
- Walbro 255LPH fuel pump
- 3" S/S Dump
To add to my current set up of FMIC, CAI, clutch, boost controller, suspension and brake mods etc
I also figured i'd waste a little more money and got some New 18's + tyres to give it a bit more of a neat look.
Tuner is booked for next thursday for an Ecu reflash & tune, Excited much. Ill give an update after that.
Hoping for 200KW atw. Fingers Crossed.....

So the results are in!
193KW ATW (However this was achieved at only 14.5 psi as i ended up not putting the fuel pressure reg in due to getting 65-70PSI after the new fuel pump, as it turns out is thats not enough lol, so the tuner "Mark - Godzilla motorsport" left it at 86% duty cycle on the injectors and only 14.5 PSI)
I just went to look at the chart again to see the torque figure but its not there so I'm only reverting to what Mark told me which i thought was somewhere around the 370nm range.
overall I'm pretty happy with the outcome as its a very safe tune and there is still plenty of room to grow.
