The developer is very helpful with sorting compatibility issues. :)

Confirming BTSSM works in the 03-06 LGT Twin Scroll ECU

You have seen it working on a JDM twin scroll? - with Torque on android - or with the OE software?

Nah mate nothing yet. Although their website seems to suggest it will work :?:

I got an email from them saying they were working on the SSM - but Juabeg had bought one and not managed to get it working with his car - so I asked if they would let me return if it didn't work with my car - or give me a discount and work with me to try to make it connect - but I stopped getting emails back at that point - so kind of got put off a little...

Hmmm fair enough. They have been slow on the emails to me lately too, but that might just be because its new year and everyone is a bit slow around this time

So my car was the test for a 2005 AUDM Twin Scroll (manual) - the AUDM is effectively JDM.......
Works perfectly (and well) with the OE android software......more feature rich than Torque.

Obviously not a 100% confirmation, but I would say very very likely to succeed.....

Thanks for the info...

Is it the case that AUDM cars all have OBD2 compliance? - if so this system may still not work in JDM vehicles... :?:

DEFI here in Japan have recently released a BT/Android/iOS setup that could be worth looking at. It won't be a cheap option but it'll work as DEFI porducts do.

I'll send DEFI an email and find out what is supported in terms of Legacy/Liberty. A quick search shows the kits as between JPY11000-20000 so roughly A$150-230 plus postage.

Not at all - the prefacelift only have ODB2 errors, I am using BTSSM for monitoring.
