04 GT Liberty STi Auto sluggish

Postby ephesiangts » Fri Feb 10, 2012 6:17 pm

Hey,

Now that I've had the car going again a while, Ive have started to notice (has been ever since I've had it) the auto being really sluggish to take off, like a massive delay before it starts going. Like you put your foot down at an intersection and its a good second b4 its gets up and boogies. Is this something that is just the 'liberty auto' and can it be removed by the use of one of those throttle position plugins?
Now that my wife now complains about it, i think its a problem.

Anybody shed some light?

Steve

Has it been tuned.
Mine was rubbish until tuned!
clean take off now though.

I like to stall it a bit when looking at a prompt start too

I should have elaborated.
It has been tuned. Has a 2010 WRX STi EJ207 and VF34 twin scroll.
And It goes. But I've started to notice it being more sluggish than before.

Is the trans fluid full? you have probably checked but a little bit low can make a big difference.
