Need new gearbox......grhhhh

Ok clutch was making a bit of a noise so I thought I'd nurse it until I got paid. Got really loud toward the end and when my mechanic pulled it out the thrust bearing had worn the bell housing and I now need a new gearbox or box housing. No wreckers seem to have any, I'm pulling what's left of my hair out trying to get back on the road anyone have a spare 2005 gt manual box lying around?

You don't need a box, you need the snout machined and a sleeve fitted.

No one seems to be able to do it here in vic, I have had a quote for a new casing for about a grand, have asked about sleeving but I cant seem to find anyone to do it. Do you know anyone?

Not in Vic. Goto any machine shop. Try performance places and engine builders. Someone will do it.

have a spare 4 bolt gen2 non turbo box and matching r160 open rear.
$500 will get you back on the road.
But thrashing it will break it :p
