I'm looking at investing in a Perrin down pipe for my auto 2004 liberty gt, same as the down pipe in the link below:

Got a few questions about it..
Does anyone know if it will fit?
Value for money/performance gains compared to other brands such as HKS or AVO etc?
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think the US pipes fit our vehicle (someone can correct me if I'm wrong). They didn't get the 2.0LT - the US only got the 2.5T vehicles I think. The compatibility list on that link also lists manual vehicles only and I assume yours being an MY04 is automatic.

I would buy this if yours is the automatic: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14141. Have a quick search re the Phat DP on these forums and there's hardly a bad word said about them. It's ceramic coated and based on the HKS one. Fitment is excellent. Mark would be happy to courier it I'm sure.

Edit: noted that you mentioned yours is the auto in the first post. Definitely consider the one Mark has for sale.

thats a really good price for the Perrin one, I have the HKS dump with an upgraded higher flowing cat and I paid alot more than that perrin one is listed for.

If yours is an auto some chap is selling a PHAT dump pimp in the for sale section. Get on that if yours is auto.
