Do you guys go by the mileage or the age of the car?

Postby lordsnipe » Wed Sep 05, 2007 5:01 pm

Hey guys,

Just wondering if you guys normally go by the mileage travelled or the age of the car? I know the service book says whichever comes first...

Reason is, my GT has done 31-32k kms and the next service in the book is 75k/36 months.

Btw does anyone know if the 75k is a major service or not? I know the 100k is...

go by both, if you ask me. Reason being that fluids can go stale...

75K km service is not a major one; I just got mine done (at 65,000km!) not long ago.

Which ever comes first. As a matter fact your owners manual /service hadbook should state that too.

Which ever comes first, I had the 100,000 service done when the car had only 70,000.

Always milage for me, I tend to click over the K's pretty quick and normally get my car done every two months.
