My 2004 Liberty GT is reving extremely hign during cold starts. This seems to occur intermitently.
Also - fuel economy is getting worse and iding is getting worse.
Have seen many illustrations about cleaning the IACV.
I have removed the air box / hoses / intercooler.
I cannot locate the IACV??
Does any one know where it is located on the 2.0T? Will cleaning the IACV make a difference?

OK, I've just spent an hour or so searching through a couple of different workshop manuals (JDM/AUDM and USDM) and can't find any reference to an IACV. I'd be surprised if these cars had IACV's anyway. They are used to assist idle control on engines where the ECU has no control on the throttle butteflies (by bypassing the butterflies to reduce vacuum in the intake manifold and thus make it a bit easier for the engine to turn). With DBW throttle bodies the ECU can do that by just opening the throttle bodies - it doesn't need a bypass valve.
