I'm thinking so too, it's not expensive, and when you weigh up the cost of a new auto box @ $7K+, it's actually quite a worthwhile insurance :)

So I got the cooler - genuine Subaru oil cooler kit is only $220.

and it's only taken me 8 months :lol:

None, it's still in the box. It's this shiny silver thing (I think I"ll paint it black, or maybe blingy HKS purple? haha) that will take up most of the area behind the grille.

HKS make a AT tranny cooler, its black. If you want some bling, try Zerosports.

Finally got the cooler fitted - pretty much tucks behind the reo bar and it's hardly visible...

It gets fairly warm even after a short drive, so I'm guessing it is doing something :P

What did it cost to get fitted? I have one in a box here that I am going to hook up, not a genuine but well suited to the task.
