Also do plenty of short trips to the supermarket etc.

So pretty happy with the result so far.

better than the other tunes?

I'm much happier with my tune from Matt than all other tunes.

Well, my little screen sits on 6.4 l/100 in normal (read a few big hits every now and then). I have 850cc's up from 520's, so lets call them 50% bigger, so I guess i get about 10L/100km. Though it seems most of my fuel ends up as black soot on the boot hatch and fire out of my right exhaust tip.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Ian, what sort of AFR's are you running in open loop to generate that amount of black soot out of your exhaust tips.

I run ID1000s and my gauge sits at about 5.5 l/100kms. I've stopped looking at it at all.

The AFR's arn't too bad, I think it is due to having sedan tips on a wagon, and the aerodynamics pulling the soot back to the car. But i'll try and dig up my dyno sheets. Edit: not on my sheet. But it wasn't outrageous. 11.5:1 springs to mind.

For interest (auto, no mods, 102k on clock) travelling to and from work (80km zone with 8 sets of lights) i average 10.2 L/KM or between 500 - 600km per tank, various driving style.

Over the last 1000km car is showing average of 10 L/KM

That is pretty good! I drive the exact same car with slightly more km's but with mostly city, West Gate freeway (to and from work) and inner suburb driving I don't think I've never done more than 500km in a tank. I assume I average 13L/100km

Just wondering (apologies if it's a little off topic), where are your rpms sitting at while the car is idle? I think mine might be a bit high since my fuel economy isn't that great. Mine is usually under 1000rpm at about 700-800 but sometimes hovers around 1000k and a little above.

Idles at a solid 750rpm
