Liberty GT 04~08 3" Cat-back System Xforce

Postby JDGT05 » Wed Oct 19, 2011 10:52 am

Hey Guys,

As per link below, has anyone had experience with these exhaust systems?

Also if anyone has what coin would I be looking at?

Xforce will be calling me today to give me a quote on how much it would cost, so I'm just wondering what other people have paid and what kind of experience they have had with the xforce system?

I have a 2005 Lib GT

Thanks in advance!

Hey mate, I have x force center and Y pipe with a HKS dump,

Wholesale on the x force center and Y is $360, so you would be looking at around $600 for the center and Y + what ever mufflers you wanted to go with, I went with varex ones and they sound insane and can be closed when I creep home at 3 or 4 am. :D hope that helps.

Yeah mate that sounds good!

You don't have a clip of your exhaust and how it sounds do you?

Is it cat back exhaust or turbo back?

Yea mate jump on my profile in post your mods, my exhaust clip is second to last page I recon, the video is still with the stock muff on, but I'll do one with the varex's this arvo for you, I have full turbo back, 3" HKS dump with high flow 300cell cat, x force cat back with varex mufflers, best thing about the x force is their Y pipe splits into two 2.5" pipes, great for keeping noise down, no drone and no power lose. Let me know what price x force gives you but I have a feeling they won't sell direct to you. Let me know how you go and I might be able to pull a few strings and get you one for around $550-$600.

Yeah won't be buying from Xforce directly I'd imagine, most probably put me in contact with there local distributor here in WA.

Yea that was with the stock muffs, varex ones sound insane! There's a video on the exhaust forum if you go to the exhaust page. With the varex mufflers, he has the quad 3" tips, which I think is a bit over kill and it almost rubs on the exhaust housing in the bumper, I got the 2.5 inlet and outlet as it goes great with the 2.5" Y pipe, soon to be putting quad tips on but waiting to hear back on them, I'll be putting a video up later this arvo when I get home :).

Haha dont worry I love my wheels to much to change, and we still have different grilles and youve got your spoiler. I'll have that price for your on the 60ml mystery wax later on today also :), they are just getting back to me as the importor for the stuff in queensland was unavailable for god knows what reason this morning. Lol.

I was always wanting quad tips, but x force only does 3" ones and that was to rice/overkill. So I've got some 2.25 inch ones coming in :). Should look real neat, and they are done like the STI/TCP quads with the inner tip 0.5" longer than the outer one.

K&N cold Air Intake
3" HKS Dump pipe with high flow 300cell upgraded cat
(better off going the phat Dump pipe as it's based on the HKS and half the price)
3" x force center pipe with 12" resonator
3" into 2.5" Y pipe
Varex mufflers
