So ... did the slack man job, but worked a treat!

1 - Removed the ram air scoop (tech name - black plastic thing in the way) i left this off for the whole process.
2 - Using a pump/bulb syphon (multi use fluid/air pump SUPERCHEAP - $18.00 top job - small bulb syphon $4.00 takes a YEAR) drained the reservoir of dirty brownish/black fluid.
3 - Gave a quick bottle brush clean of empty reservoir.
4 - Filled to top of MAX HOT LINE (4th line) with Castrol DX 111 Auto fluid (remember to re cap reservoir b4 driving)
5 - Drove around the block a few times locking steering side to side to pump fluid through.
6 - Repeat step 2/5 - until fluid is a cherry red colour

I did this process 5 times, using a total of 1.5 litres of fluid.
Maybe not the most cost effective way as you will go through some fluid, but i found very easy for an idiot like myself.
Definitely notice a difference.

Now what fluid do i fill those black rubber things with? road fluid?

Yea i was stoked saved me a few bux at the shop.
And i learnt a little more so all good.

It's better than leaving the old fluid in there, since you would have got most of it out by mixing new fluid through with the method you used. The only concern is that it does not remove all the contaminants, debris and metal particles which will only be flushed out using my method or a similar one.

The stock system does not include a filter unfortunately.
