im keen to spend the green!

other than the turbo itself, inter-cooler and exhaust, what other mods would be required/ recommended to be done?

i thought at the very least a brake upgrade. Thoughts?

Interested to see where this goes. There would be a couple of paths to take and would depend on desired outcome; for a street car, 1 option would be 2 small turbos and about 6-8 psi, would make a very healthy improvement any more and would require lots more of supporting mods like what Dave has listed.
His: '95 WRX with a "few" mods

Well, you've got my attention!

I have a 3.0R 5AT sedan. What Kw and Nm will the auto withstand? I would be interested in a scalable solution/kit that you can progressively "add" more bits to achieve more Kw and Nm.

I would like to start with low boost kit and only the necessary extra bits to make it reliable. So very interested in a Phased approach.

Kind Regards,

Mark.

Hi,
I've been monitoring this thread with keen interest and have this to say: Do it well, do it properly or don't do it at all. The bottom line is if you don't want to cut corners and sacrifice reliability and safety, with this kind of build you have to be prepared to spend some money. Half measures will not produce dependable results. Furthermore, a scalable kit may not be viable simply because of the incremental tuning costs which that may involve at every stage.
My advice is to speak with a mechanic or a tuning shop that has experience with these sorts of builds and liase with them while putting this kit together. In Sydney there are several tuning shops that would know what this sort of thing would entail. Don't quote me on this but I think Pulseracing are working on putting a kit together as well.
If it'll be of any help I'll be posting up a build write up and a mods/parts list soon.

And why not? They aim to please! Although, with biturbocharging a H6, you are bound to get some impressive figures no matter what!

Superlap if any gives to that example.
