ez30 twin turbo kit

Postby mwboom » Thu Apr 08, 2010 6:54 pm

Greetings All

There have been lots of talk about turbocharging the beloved H6..

I am considering producing a kit for the masses.. It would consist of twin turbos, pipework to up to and including cat, heat protection, drains and fittings. Excluding fuel systems, clutch upgrade, electronic boost control, Lubricants, tuning and fitment.

Please let me know of genuine interest only.

Regards

Mark

DEFINITELY interested! What kind of price are we talking? And what price would we be talking including the rest of the parts needed for a full install?

Thanks for intial interest.

Just to answer a few of the questions.

Price?? I will have something together in the next few weeks including further parts details. I am not a mechanical business, I simply want to make something available for enthusiasts. It will not be a cheap package but nor will be the reward.

Complete package? I am not a tuner nor mechanic, I am however one of few that can provide personal experience with this installation. The intention is for me to provide the appropiate parts and advice and for you to have it installed and tuned correctly.

Will the kit be engineered? No, as in I will not be involved with ADR compliance. If the installation is carried out correctly and the vehicle is suitably modified, having the car engineered in NSW is straight forward.

Power?? 240-300 atkw Torque 600-750nm flywheel

I am interested.

quick question...when you say your not a mechanic, are you just hoping to get enough interest to buy parts for a conversion in bulk, thus reducing the price for all? ( im not knocking the idea, just digging)

Gday.

fair question. No I am not trying to do a bulk by, I simply want to gauge interest before investing and wasting my time and money.

Cheers

Again not being a mechanic or tuner etc what R&D are you planning, or have done, into what will work reliably as the figures you have quoted will not just happen. I only ask as you are not going to achieve reliable results by simply bolting on some turbos to a high comp engine. Again not having a go or trying to shoot you to flames just these are things I would be thinking about if doing the same thing
