big power. I think in the region of 300 atw kw (keep in mind on the Pulse Racing dyno which is known to read quite high)

Don't think it got down the drag strip

Wasn't the car there for 2-3 months or something? Guess they must have did the install themselves.

The engine bay caught a light at a track day, not sure about the exact amount of damage

Holy carp! thats nuts.. i spose it goes to show with mods that push the limits of a factory car no matter how safely done are still abit of a gamble..

Whats would be the go in this instance... i imagine pulse racing would have to cover a degree of the damages?

*Edit* also makes me feel better about always carrying a fire extinguisher in my car just in case..

You gotta pay if you are going to play imo...doubt Pulse will be paying any costs due to damage done on a track either. With the amount of money and time spent on making a twin turbo H6, the good doctor could have bought himself a good used porsche I think

i dunno about that... i'd definitely be seeking some kind of compensation. Whether on track or not it must have been something majorly wrong that they've missed to cause a component in the engine to catch fire.

When you build a 300kw+ car you arent building it to be feather footed around. Especially if you look at the scale of some of pulse's other projects.. those cars are just mean
And i imagine with Bullit being the gunieu pig car to advertise the kit to the public that it can be done.. they'd be keen to rectify it as abit of P.R. for future business. A clients car blowing up at a track day doesnt sing the highest praise for a tuning shop focused on competition.

It'd be interesting to hear the full story from Mob Boss... he's still active on the forum but hasnt posted in quite a while.
