Looking at my first Subi purchase (2006 SUBARU LIBERTY 4GEN MY07 3.0R AWD on carsales.com.au).
Just wondering what sort of fuel economy I should expect around town (wife going shopping etc) and once a month Melbourne to Ballarat run up the Western Hwy.
Cheers,
Mike.

Iv only had mine for about a month but seem to get 11.2l/100km on average around town. Driving it back from Melbs i got 8.8, but yeah around town expect about 11.

Sydney grid-lock anything up to 17l/100!! Man these things suck fuel like V8's at long idle periods!...other end of the spectrum, Highway, cruise on 130Klms I was getting low 8.2l/100. Women drivers get better round town as they leave the lights more gently it seems.
