Why would you think having an auto will make a difference?

Trojan, I am creating definition support for your rom [D2UH001T], as it is not support by romraider.

Within an hour, I will have all support for variables I need. As soon as you can send me full 2 and 3rd gear logs from low RPM to rpm limit, I will be ready to go with the rom.

Below is some feedback I sent a potential customer, for which I want to share with you

At the present moment, I see the cost at $300AUD. I keep updating the pricing due to complexities, because each car is custom tuned. That's the problem. I always custom tune. I been thinking off just releasing DBW support, but when you see how bad these cars work, its like why just release DBW updates when the engine power is all about the place and the car just feel slow, sluggish and power holes in the band. So back to square 1.

I prefer that each car is tune to the driver style. In so doing, I have found my self really refining the car and in many cases, developing definitions to support customer. It takes a lot of effort.

In the mean time I do not want to be expensive, so I try to set a balance. I have worked with turbo cars over many years, so I know how long it will take. NA tune is pretty new for me in the sense, its not about power making, but refining. So you mentality of tuning is different. The processes are the same, but you cannot charge turbo prices, except if the customer need a clean up. Its hard in marketing. lol!!!!

The cost covers the following until further notice, as I try to keep my customer service high. Not one client can say I ignored their requests, even long after tuning.

At present, I have 2 customers that paid me and I am running them down for logs! lol.

  1. ROM Definition Support
  2. Tuning
  3. 24hr support as much as possible through Blackberry service. Additional support through email, Yahoo Messenger, MSN, Skype
  4. Free updates if applicable after tuning is completed

I hope the above help in people understand the reasons behind changed.

I hope you like v0. This is the finding rom where we get things kick off. The DBW have massive changes and you should love it now. The stock one was crap. Bad thing is, all SI Drive settings are the same and you will need to let me know how you want each one to be design.

I think SI on NA is crap. For turbo yeah. If you had massive tq, I can understand.

Well lets see what we can do with the response and power delivery as you want :)

Ok. Once you have the cable, we will be able to pull your rom and see if we have support. Once supported, you can log the car and using those logs, we can tune your car.

So you will log, I will update the ecu and you will log again. This cycle will go on until we finish tuning. Not sure if this help, but let me know.

All SI Drive owners, can you please post your thoughts on SI Drive tuning here:- viewtopic.php?f=16&t=7803

I look forward to your thoughts, because it would be interesting to see what you need in respect to tuning, since getting it right based on your DBW custom tuning can take some time.
