Ecu was pulling timing and IAM was dropping.

Yeah that what it says there... 440nm of torque! Isn't that more than a WRX STi?
Here's mine:-

its a dyno guess.
I wouldnt take it as face value, simply an idication where torque is made.

can you guys put up text versions of what you got? cos i can't see imageshack images at work and i'm interested what you made...
i have a question too... would the output at the wheels be different with a 5 speed manual (like in my car)??
because my car has probably one of the more modified ez30's on the forum (CAI, Extractors, 2.5" catback, walbro fuel pump, modifed fuel rails and a ViPEC aftermarket ECU) and only makes 143kw and 3500N of torque in 4th gear (4.11 8 bolt 5 speed from a gen3 RX)
maybe it's just the tune... it was slightly detuned for emissions and hasn't been retuned since...
i really want them to wind out the 30r on the next retune... it's capped at 7000rpm currently

both were custom made by AM auto in qld...
$700 each... at the time it was just another part of the $13,000 conversion that i did on my car

That is pretty modified, and it seems a though there are people with stock 3.0 getting 140kw atw. That's crazy!!
The 6 speed STi boxes have closer gear ratios, whether that affects anything I'm not too sure.

Here's mine after a V-tune recently.
Mine is a 6 speed with a HKS air filter and PHAT exhausts as the only performance mods.

I was a bit dissapointed in the power figures but that's not the be all and end all. The car feels a lot better with more usable power and an increase in responsivenemss. Best of all, the lag from the drive by wire is gone which means it's more predictable and drivable.

It would be nice if someone up in Sydney started V-TUNE for the price

Should just drive down & get it done. Book a time with Vin, come down for a night or two, & you'll be smiling all the way back to Sydney! haha

Well drive down, fuel/time to drive up and down/tune/accommodation/time off from work,it might be easy to get a piggy-back ECU
