2008 Liberty 3.0R-B - Flat spot 2000-2500rpm

Postby Reegan » Tue Nov 24, 2020 11:03 am

Hey there!

I recently purchased an 08 liberty 3.0R-B and have been driving it now for a few weeks. I have noticed that when accelerating between 2000-2500rpm the accelerator pedal will do almost nothing, and then at a certain point spike up to 2500+rpm and drive as normal until It goes back into that flat spot range. I was wondering if anyone had any similar issues? Ive read that it could possibly need an ECU update but unsure. Any other advice? Cheers in advance.

You do basic logging & learning view stuff.
See where AF learning 1 is at.
Should be +/-5%
If not compare bank1 & 2.
Inlet pressure test.
Diagnose avcs.
Check fuel & sparks etc.

Can help in Collingwood :good:
