Buying a 3.0R B spec
Posted: Tue Sep 05, 2017 8:56 pmHi guys, I'm new to Subaru, looking at a 2009 Liberty 3.0L R B spec. It's done 140,000km. Sellers asking $13,500. Apart from a ECU tune, the car is in original condition.
It had a 5 year Subaru warranty but the last 3 years the owner has done the oil change and air filters himself.
Timing chain has not been replaced.
Is this a fair price ? What type of stuff should I look out for ?
I've heard the head gasket can be a major issue. Would a NRMA inspection be thorough enough to check if there's a problem ?
