Hi there.

Bazaar fault this week.

While driving , my dash lighting , tacho and speedo died in the current position.
Drove home , stopped the car and tried restarting it. The car would start then amediatley die.
It continued to do this each time I tried starting it. Checked the battery voltage, looked ok.
1 hour later, it just came good. Turned the key to the on position, gauges did their full scale sweep, lighting came back and I was able to start the car ok! Been running fine for the last couple of days.
Any idea what happen? I'm scared it might happen again and leave me stranded.

Dunno but if you don't put the key in fully you lose instruments..... even runs like that though....
Eg you put key in, start it up then instruments die.
Maybe that, have done it a couple of times myself.....
BUT my motor didn't stop....
If it is that maybe key worn or key ring too heavy (as in my case - g force just loosens it enough to pull it out of ignition far enough)
