Okie dokie, back to the drawing board for me seeing that now it is a naturally aspirated car.
Turbo's are fun, no doubt about it, but the 3RB is such a beauty to drive.
I guess in order to make an NA car faster what are the options?
1. Air Intake
2. Air Output
3. Tune
4. Headers/Extractors
Disregarding twin turbos or a supercharger is there anything else?
Handling and Brakes (another topic).

there really is a lack of info regarding 3rb's isn't there? These threads always seem to end without much info.

Well the main reason people even pick the 3.0 is they are happy with how it is out of the box, and not interested in modifying it.

That's pulled from a reply from one of your other threads in which you're pretty much asking the same thing!
http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?p=43558
Even you said it "
1. Didn't want to mod too much, knew that if I got a turbo.... then pretty soon, it would have a bigger TMIC or a FMIC, upgraded turbo... etc.. etc.. "

I love my 3rb enough so as not to be tempted to an sti lib but Throttle hanging on after lift off is a big issue for me.

From what I have read, that is a Subaru thing - the factory does that to reduce emissions. When shifting I just lift that tad earlier and I don't get the rev flare. Haven't experienced it feeling like it was "hanging open" when lifting off to decelerate though

Yes that's what I’m thinking of doing.
Well here's my thoughts on some improvements after driving an sti lib:
1) Sti springs and maybe bushes if they're compatible
2) Short shift gear linkages
3) Junbl st steel boxes with quad tips
4) Ecutek type 2 to tune out throttle surge, increase power, flatten out torque curve and increase fuel effec.
Anything else?
What about some sort of cold air intake!
