CorgiWerx is planning an upgrade to the Idler Pulleys bearings on the 3.0R H6 accessory belt.
The standard Idler Pulleys for the accessory belt use a 6203.2RS single row deep groove ball bearing, 40mm OD x 17mm ID x 12mm W
While these are okay for the purpose, being a single row they steadily lose their rigidity, become loose and begin to wobble.
When the pulley wobbles it emits and unpleasant sound and accelerates wear of the grooves in the poly-V belt.
The idler pulley under the alternator is the more highly stressed of the two, and its bearing wears at a greater rate.

There is double row angular contact bearing of identical OD and ID, 5203.2RS
Being double row, it will be less prone to inner and out race “wobble” as it wears.
This bearing will be trialled to see if it can offer superior rigidity over the standard bearing.
