Check your engine mount bolts

Postby Brunsy3.0 » Fri Apr 15, 2016 2:36 pm

Hey All,

May not be 3.0l specific but...

I was under my car today and saw what looked like and was a loose nut. The nut on the opposing side was also loose. These nuts are on the bottom of the engine mounts that connect the mount to the chassis.

These were so loose i turned one about one full turn and it came off the other was threaded on a bit further but still finger tight.

CHECK YOUR ENGINE MOUNT NUTS

You have been warned

Cheers

Brunsy

Next week should be the week. Waiting on one part and its a crappy bumper support or something tiny little black piece up near the quart panel
Everythings painted and ready to reassemble basically the bumper and grill and shes ready to roll

First thing to do is oil change from sitting since november without being started
Prolly only do engine oil as gearbox and diffs were changed just before crash
