Anyone done a timing chain on a 3.0r ?

hey guys just about to do a timing chain on my 3.0r spec b, have seen a video of a guy doing one on YouTube but would just like maybe some handy hints and tips
, also have to take out the 6mt so it can get new syncros as they're stuffed from previous owners. thanks guys !

To be sure I have never heard of anyone needing to, how many km does your H6 have on it?

Why are you doing this??
The chain should basically never need replacing.
I did this at 130,000km, due to the well known issue with the hydraulic tensioner (ticking noise on idle, plenty of info out there). I bought a chain and sprockets etc. to be on safe side, in hindsight it was a waste of money as they were all in excellent condition.
