Removing the Intake Manifold?

Postby Kesh » Mon Oct 12, 2015 1:20 pm

Hey guys, just wondering how difficult it is to remove the intake manifold on the 3.0? I want to paint it but I haven't found any guides on the internet to follow. Is it just a matter of removing bolts? Is it necessary to get a new gasket on the intake once I remove it or will the old one be fine!

Cheers!!

FSM says to replace the manifold seals.

I think my intake manifold seals are leaking. Do I need to replace EGR seal also? I think it´s not reusable? Which point to unplug EGR?
