Hi, does anyone know good high flow sports cat brands?

All I can find are MagnaFlow universal ones on ebay?? Are they any good or will they break up?

I got some raptor headers recently so before getting them fitted I need to find 2 high flow cats as well.

Going to do 3rd cat delete, already got straight piped SS exhuast.

I want a remap after trying for 300hp?

Magnaflow is a great brand. I have raptor headers, 2 200cell magnaflow cats, 3rd cat delete, straight through res and straight through mufflers.. And I have a lot of rasp at 3.3k revs. I'm going to add another resonator where the 3rd cat delete is.

Oh quick question! What size cats do I need? I know the exhaust is 2.5" but are the cat tubes the same size? Or smaller?

Same size will be best for maintaining good flow

You can get whatever size you would like, I got 2.25 headers, 2.25 cats, and piping is 2.25 all the way to the rear where it splits into 2! Going too big a diameter apparently reduces some mid range power, so I stuck with 2.25 and am quite happy with the gains I've made!

I went through this not too long ago, can't give much advice for which cats to use, have heard good things about Magnaflow though as others have said.

Couple things with hiflow cats I've found:
- Mine are 100cell Xforce
- My exhaust smells a lot more than before, probably because I'm pretty close to running test pipes!
- You may get raspiness with a 3rd cat delete and hiflow cats

The first change I did on my exhaust was the Raptor headers, 100cell cats and 3rd cat delete. Catback was stock at this point. I did get some horrible raspiness by using pretty much cats that don't do much at all.

Also - I threw a 0420 code (catalytic converter efficiency), not right away but did happen. Easily tuned out.

Got my car booked in to have header fitted 2nd of September.

I think I'm just going to have the cats cut out and put on flanges so I can just put them back in for MOT/emissions test.

My exhaust is going to sound awesome with no filter!
