Lib 3.0R in manual no TCS and VDC? How come?

Hey there fellow Liberty owners, been a while since I posted
Been browsing Lib's again and wondering why a Manual 3.0R doesn't have TCS (Traction Control System) and VDC (Vehical Dynamics Control)? But the Auto's do....
Anything to do with the auto gear box?

Nope, Impreza gets VDC across the range, other manuals have had it before ... must just be Subaru cost cutting.

The "car comparison" feature on subaru.com.au says that ALL the 3.0R models have both TCS and VDC.

You sure Ric? when I drill down into the Features it says (Automatic Only) next to TCS and VDC.
I'll check again.

I know the 3.0RB didn't get it. In truth... probably cost cutting. In Subaru spin... "the 3.0RB is a drivers car. Typical buyers of a 3.0RB do not want the intrusion of traction control systems on a car that has Subaru perfect balance AWD"...

My experience of the AWD system is far from perfect. Going down a steep driveway on an angle, one of the front wheels was slightly off the ground - stepped on it and all I got was wheelspin, the rear didn't even push the car forwards.

I'm not sure what this means, i'll let the boffins work it out.
when i was in adelaide i was behind OzSti on his way into a car park at an angle and the left rear came off the ground for about 2-3 feet to height of about max 6inches and the wheel just kept rotating at pretty much the same speed as the other wheels?
sorry, couldn't be bothered checking if his is man or auto....

Traction control is completely useless on a Subaru, but I would rather any car driven by my wife with kid inside had stability control.
