Thanks very much for this - I'm about to post a question on power steering, and I'm learning about how it works.
I didn't realize there was a circuit in the system for this - makes sense now when you think about it though!

the boots look fine,.i only just replaced the cv Inner/outer boots, all the other boots seem fine.

just made a cuppa, off to lift the lid and sought it , ill post a mess shortly.

Here is a picture of the rear of a H6 PS Pump taken off a for sale on ebay.
It shows the pressure switch screwed into the rear of the pump and the pig tail electrical connector.
