I am starting to use patsuoq now. Definitely a better option.

The H6's do run quite hot. I have a Gen 4 H6 Liberty, my father has a Gen 4 H6 Outback, and my brother has a Gen 4 H6 Outback. All get quite hot under the bonnet and radiate a fair bit of heat, especially after a hard drive. We have just put it down to the engine size and the fact that it is an alloy block.

As long as your temperature gauge stays normal, and you make sure you have plenty of coolant in your resevoir/no leaks anywhere, you should be fine. If the temperature gauge starts to rise, time for a coolant flush..
