hey guys
So iv got a 3.0rb that im building up atm. Its getting a pair of garrett gt2560r, fmic, damd bodykit plus a bunch more.
Now iv stripped the motor down most of the way but iv been struggling to find any tech info for measurements
Im goin to drop the comp so she can handle more boost and need to know if a set of rods from a ez36 are at all a chance
I can measure my rods once they are out but accurate specs are like hens teeth
If anyone knows where i might find full eng tech itd b much appreciated
Also theres plenty of blown h6s around these days whats a good reccomended size for injectors. Im aiming for 500-600 bhp at hopefully max 14-16 psi
Ps itl be a streeter so i know im gonna have a headache at taming it
Cheers for any help

forget the twins,
keep it simple (tried and proven) with a big single, GT30.
unopenend stock engine running E85 and 8psi it's making 270KW ATW
For only 14-15 psi Just swap the slugs out and put it back together.

I hear what ur sayin but i wanna drop comp n keep lag to a min
It goes against everything i know to run much boost with that much comp
Any suggestions on pistons?

I would think that a big turbo (high flow - keep the boost pressures nice and low - under 20psi) and E85 should handle it (based on 5 minutes of googling - I'm not an engine builder

), no idea of what pistons/etc, sorry.
Maybe message Spec BSC - he has a supercharger, but it's the same sort of deal. His build thread

have you actually calculated the airlfow at "x" RPM of the two small turbo's vs one appropriate one.
the more piping you have, the more losses due to friction you have,
Essentially for fluids (air being a fluid) where you have every extra metre of pipework, it's the same flow restriction as adding an extra 90' bend.
plus internal friction within the turbo's themselves.
dropping compression will increase lag.
I'm no builder, but 3 years studying Thermal and fluid Enginnering has taught me some basics, that cannont be ignored

Yea i had a look and the twins i want can flow almost 70 lb/min combined but the single was only 55-56 lb/min
The full performance map favours the twins to me plus ill fit twins in easier than one big single
Not that i don't appreciate the advice guys its great but iv made my decicion so if u could just help with what i want not change my mind thatd be awesome. That said almost everything esle is open to ideas

Already been down that path, the 2560's were too small and choked the top end on the exhaust housing side with an internal WG despite the 1.5L/side. Changed to twin 3071's and it came on boost earlier plus had 'revability' as could run more overlap without pushing against a brick wall. Single 3576 in twinscroll housing is still the fastest response
EZ36 rods wont work, get CP or Mahle drop in low compression pistons
ID1000's for ease of tuning and plug+play
If your only after 600Hp@crankshaft then you only need 12psi on a GTX3576 with a stock motor.
