I was given a brand new Blitz Electronic Throttle Controler today off a good friend,

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them or if anyone has one in their car?

Is there anything I should look out for?

Sounds like an electronic right foot?
http://www.blitzpowerusa.com/products/t ... rocon.html
The website suggests that it intercepts the DBW signal and replaces it with a reshaped throttle opening curve.
Given that the brain is connected to the foot, the brain pushes the pedal to yield the go-ness required.
As it will not increase to output of the engine, why bother?

Given that the airflow response and therefore power response from cracking open the throttle is highly non-linear how would reshaping the throttle response curves so radically be an improvement?
It would make it harder to inch the car in congested traffic?

I haven't installed it but due to possible future plans, I don't think I'll go ahead with the install
