My first little traffic light drag

Postby mattmcc22 » Mon Nov 17, 2014 3:18 pm

I had my first little traffic light drag race today against a stock looking 2010ish wrx. We both had a slight rolling start and went up to 70km/h. With over 200kg of passengers in my car he just edged ahead of me by a couple feet. I was very happy with how my h6 went :D

If you haven't already, get your car tuned. The increase in acceleration will blow your socks off :D

Yep got it tuned almost straight after I got it saving up for my holiday spending money at the moment, but planning on getting e85 next year once I have my funds back up!

If you're able to, time the before and after 0-100 times. I'd be curious to see how much of a difference it makes

I shall try, I have never done a hard launch before, hence the slow rolling start at the lights, but I'll give it a go before I get the tune.

Before tune 0-100 6 seconds give or take

After E85 ,raptor headers ,high flow cats and E85 tune ...easy 5 seconds with good gear changes

On an auto I got 7.2 before tune, 6.5 after and still around 6.3ish on e85 and headers. However 0-100 isn't the be all end all. Automatics tend to struggle on launches because of our lack of stall. But mid range and overtaking is so effortless!
