Hey guys and girls,

Right so I've been looking into the raptor SC kits for my rig, Ive read the UK guys horror story but I'm pretty sure that's not related to the SC, but i would like to know who has done this mod, and what the pros and cons are, what pitfalls they have encountered what engine internal upgrades should be made ect ect. Would love to get some info as im seriously considering this journey!

check out the Raptor SC Development thread down there.

Tim has been working closely with a number of CLub Lib members and on his own car developing the kits.

No engine internal upgrades are required. Injectors, fuel pump and bolt on the SC.

Matt Gallagher, Tyrick + Creston(new owners of a Supercharged H6 on this forum, it now squats like a constipated dog and squirms all over the road from 2000rpm to rev limit), Anson and Purdy all now have manual Supercharged H6's locally and they are issue free.

Currently doing a deal in Coffs Harbour on the SC kits, purchase the kit from Raptor, bring it to Coffs Harbour and it is $1100 for full kit install and dyno tuned :)

Apart from a premature S/C Transmission Belt failure, my car/kit has been issue free too. Install of non Inter cooled system was back in Apr 2011. WTA Inter cooler & smaller pulley added around Dec 2012 and billet compressor wheel & dual belt s/c transmission belt upgrades Nov 2014.

Thats great! good excuse to drive up to coffs, I currently have a hurricane cat back systems would you suggest full exhaust before the bolt on kit?

Getting headers and cats done obviously improves the combinations potential :)

I've been told that the stock headers on the H6 flow extremely well and don't require changing, any one have any comments on that?

If you saw a cut away picture of the stock headers, I don't think you would agree with the above statement. Ill try n dig out the pic for you.

My first performance mods were headers, high flow cats n 3rd cat delete and (Matt) - Kido Tune. With this combo alone the performance increase was marked, although I personally have no dyno figures pre n post mod. But you will find these figures somewhere in the Raptor/ 3.0lt Headers thread.

Utter crap. Listen to the above people.. Get a set of Tim's Headers, they will make a massive difference (+ tune obviously).

That's stupid restricted! I got that advice from a well known tune shop too looking at that picture I can't believe they would believe that stock headers would be acceptable :?
