H6 - Talk it up!!

Postby 3specB » Wed May 07, 2008 5:51 pm

Hi all,

I'm quite new to subaru's. But i'm in love with my wagon. Anyone want to talk it up with me?

So far i have done some pretty fun drives in it. I like doing arthurs seat (hillclimb) a bit, and really love open high speed corners. It just wants more and more.

I havent done top speed yet, but i can state that it is very stable and enjoyable at close to top speed.

Such a perfect package for "the family car".

If you mean spirited driving its on the track. Otherwise I live near the Zoo with all the other animals :D

Would you like to come and play?

Altho im not sure if im going to get raped by ric for this.. But.. For good trackdays/dyno days.. Your best bet is to check ozliberty..

There's also a winton track day this weekend run by.. EXE crew and some other sydney groups.. If you want more info on them try the EXE forums.. But I think you have to be a member of those forums, and it's invite only.. So yeah.. :/

I think sandown also has a trackday this weekend.. Check ozliberty.

Seems like rx8 club has quite a few as well. Ive got 2 mates that did winton the other week. Anyone taken there H6 out on the track? If so how did they go? What kind of times?

The RX8 days are good. The WRX Club days are also good but you get less track time.

Kevin from Driver Dynamics has another day coming up on June 20th http://www.driverdynamics.com.au/calendar/index.php?action=display&id=168 cost is very reasonable and day is generally well organised. In fact he sometime runs days at broadford track.

His last post on the RX8 site http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=145958

hope everyone is having a good long weekend

I have been finding a few good hillclimbs just wondering how the turbo models compare to the h6 on a nice hard uphill drive
A mate of mine has a tuned by sti auto very nice but i prefer my wheels and definatly prefer the manual

Id back mine on a hillclimb
