Subaru Mentone quoted $2500
Bursons quoted $1250
Repco for a Clutch Industries clutch ( never heard of this brand) $750

Im going to go for an Exedy one. had it installed in my 180sx type x and loved it.

Can anyone get it at a better price? When I bought it for my 180sx it was $270 approx and cost/trade price

Thnx

Check to see if you have a dual mass flywheel as it will need refurbishing or replacement

Contact Jim Beryy then as I believe he does an exchange flywheel service(he sends you clutch and flywheel as a package) and then send back your old flywheel for core refund.

Otherwise, the Exedy VF Clutch for the STi Impreza would be my pick(FH02SDV) but FH02SD1 would be good too

Everywhere I look I hear about the Jim Berry clutch seems like a good bit of kit and will definately be considering this option once clutch time comes

Does the 3.0R run OK with a single mass flywheel. Looking at getting a lightened Flywheel put in when I change my clutch in the near future

Driven 2, both feel strong. Little more NVH but other than that, perfect. A lot more willing to REV!

Hmm, so I have finally been looking into this again because I really am getting to the stage where I need this, but my local supplier seems to think that the 3.0RB has a single mass flywheel. So now I am confused.
None of the online EPC sites have a part number for the flywheel, but looking at the exploded views would suggest that it is SMF. I need to be 100% sure before I order anything, because I will convert to single mass if there is a dual mass FW in there.

i pulled my factory clutch off my 3.0R and it was single mass flywheel... pretty sure none of the 6 speed boxes came with dual mass.
