What is the Difference?

I have been looking at EZ30 engines on ebay and notice that a number of reputable sellers are stating that the MY07 and later engines "do not fit" my05 and MY06 libertys?

Apart from the SI drive introduced from MY07 onwards does anyone know definitively what the differences between the engines are?

Engines themselves are identical but ECU is different from pre to post (ie SI drive)

It is logical that the ECU was upgraded at facelift when the SI Drive was introduced.
I still cannot reconcile why the reputable sellers would say that the engines are not compatible?
Maybe I should go ask them?

There are other differences - post facelift gets dual avcs (intake + exhaust) rather than just intake avcs

Incorrect. Engines are the same, with some small mechanical changes and a different

Only the 3.6L GenV got Dual AVCS
