Hey all,

Any suggestions for headers? Looked at Raptor, just wondering what everyone else is running?
Also this will involve a tune obviously...
Cheers,

Only people that are making them are Raptor or K2Gear (from Japan and around 3x the price). I'd go Raptor.

K2 are more expensive but are a complete bolt on with raptor need to ither cut your old headers at the cats and join or buy new cats and get a custom join piece made few options for it still will be cheaper then k2 but not a straight forward job.

Raptor get straight of tradewind in the commercial vendor section on this forum .
K2 headers would give garage88 a call

Raptor headers are definitely the go Kris

Both from a performance and sound perspective. Add some TCP Auto quads and you'll luv it.

Kido tune essential to achieving an optimum result.

Feel free to check out my build thread, will give u a good idea of what can be done with front section exhaust upgrade.

PUDZ,

Car looks sweet. Where'd you get the cats from? Was it a direct fit or did you have make some extra mods?

Cheers.

Steve

I purchased my magnaflow cats from tuffcarparts.com.au Speak to Justin, he'll look after you with pricing and fast dispatch. There ebay store prices are a little dearer.
Ebay is worthwhile to check both round & oval shaped cats, as the oval ones may have a little more ground clearance than the round ones I bought.

The cats on welded to the rear extractor flange supplied by Raptor with about a 3" pipe extension from front cat outlet to the flange. This is done to keep the front sensors in the factory location. ie same distance back from engine exhaust manifold. Custom 2 into 1 collector pipe with no 3rd cat was built to link from the rear of new cats to the front of the factory mid pipe flex joint. Ive kept the mid pipe with resonater and rear y-pipe factory at this stage. The thinking behind keeping these
sections stock is to retain good low end torque. This seems to have worked well. :D

Tcp quads bolt straight up to the stock y-pipe flange.
