HELP! H6 3rd gear redline gearstick/box rattle (during logs)
Hey All
I have a '07 3.0L spec.b H6 6MT and have just started tuning with XRT (west-minist - Edward) and when doing the 3rd gear pulls am noticing a slight rattle/vibration that comes from the gearstick when almost at redline (around 6000 - 7200rpm) I have only noticed this on the last two logs but under normal driving conditions (not rev bashing) there is no issue, just concerned that it may be an issue in the transmission or mounts/bushes or something of the likes, even the thought of the reverse lock out cable has crossed my mind, I am 2500km away from my next service and should have the tune done by then if the issue remains I will be seeking mechanics advice, as mechanics here in the NT especially locally here good help is hard to find so it is not always my first instinct to run to them
I haven't really checked anything yet as im not what you would call mechanically minded, I do like to do what I can myself but when it comes to things out of my knowledge I like to put up my hand and ask the question
cheers
