Hello,
i got a troubling noise at my car. I tried to figure out where from - very strange behavior. The noise sounds like if you overtake a truck and can hear the booming noise of the truck tyres, no crispy sound like something will breake. The noise appears around 2300-2500rpm in evry gear, if i open the clutch and keep the revs up - the noise is still there. Upper and lower revs are normal - just in this small band. If i rev up in the stand - no noise.
Any idea what causes this noise?

Ok, so i hope Newbie GT will give his 2 cents.
Additional info, at the first meters (1-2km) there is no noise - after a short while it appears and stays (like in my first post)- very strange ...
Possibly in stand the noise appears too, but at very low level (so i can´t verify it detailed) and the rev-band is smaller to cause the noise (harder to reproduce).

stop the red pills and give the little green ones with a heart on them a go then all the bad will go away

The green one are sold out in Germany, just the red one available - and i need some pills . But would be nice if this is the solution for my problem....

Have you got a stock exhaust? Or is it an aftermarket version? Have you got some means to record the sound both inside and outside the car as you drive?
