Well, with all this talk about 3rbs breaking traction and what not, and a thread degenerating into madness I have come up with a challenge.

Basically it is open to all non forced induction h6 powered Liberties. I will pay $200 bucks into bank account of the first person to run over 99.99 mph over one quarter of a mile (402m) with scanned time slip evidence from an actual track. This will put to bed any debate on the merit of tuning h6's.
Why choose that mile per hour? It is about what a GT would run with a tune and exhaust. Why don't I care about times? Because terminal speed is a true measure of a vehicles power output.
So get cracking, and post up your time slips even if you don't come close. It is all just good fun at the end of the day.

Ian.

*Offer expires on the 31/12/2013.
**Aussie members only. Just in case westminst has some nitrous slurping contraption over there in Caribbean.
***Kiahatsiu does not endorse street racing.

Time slips only. Encouraging people to do it on the road would probably see me hauled off to goal. And you know what they do to pretty boys like me in there?

A stock car at full street trim (1600kg with driver and fuel) "should" be capable of 96 MPH

Given the speeds that my old TT leggy was crossing the traps in (155km/h = 96MPH :D ),
and how much better the 3RB gets up and boogies in comparison, this will be interesting especially for those with good tunes

You're a bloody legend Ian

I'll chime in here.

I'll pay $200 to any H4 turbo liberty that runs over 115mph on the same conditions as Ian (expires 31/12/2013 and only to gen 4 liberties based in Australia).

Mick

Just make 110mph and include all H6 Liberties.

Who is going to be the first to have to explain why the car is out on the street and the garage is full of seats, head unit, speakers, carpets, etc?

"But, but ... I was only doing it to buy you those $200 ear rings you want."

Didn't gambit go 117?
Edit, nope, he went 115.
Doppleedit: Man, you are going to be handing over 200 bucks soon mick. With the number built 2.5's on this forum starting to get up to speed. In other news, i am giving my car a very through service and having a good look at the oil as we speak, for er, no reason at all. Coyote, get the car trailer.

Ian it’s still driveable unless you start using your con rods to punch holes in your block…dr20T style
