Is it possible to retro-fit the Traction Control switch into an MY07 H6 Auto?

If so, is it plug-and-play or overly complicated.

Don't the later models have one? That's strange. Never noticed that before. Most H6 Autos have it on the left of the steering wheel down near your knee.

Nope, nothing - just a blank switch plate.

It's AWD.
traction control is always on.

Personally, I hate the sh!t, gravel roads confuse the sh!t out of TC and ESP
recent example. Driving up-hill on gravel road while going through a sweeping LH corner. there were a few ruts in the road, so being a good driver I anticipated the understeeer that would happen when it went through the ruts,
halfway through the corner, ESP decides that it's losing grip, so does it's thing by backing off the throttle and applying brakes to the inside wheel.
So naturally the car turns harder left without warning, making me nearly drive into the huge culvert on the side of the road. The big mounds of loose gravel didn;t help things either.
So TC + ESP, good if you're a retard or soccer-mum, not so good for people who can drive

I've never really felt the TC kick in before, but cannot wheel spin in the wet at all, sounds like the TC is quite eager though based on your story.

The worst TC moment I've ever had was in my missus's Alfa. 100kph dead straight cruise down the freeway and the fecker smacks on the ABS hard with no warning. Turns out some steering sensor had a moment and thought I was trying to turn hard right so thought best to slow down. Quite a brown pants moment...

That's very unusual... my car has the very switch you are talking about at the bottom left hand side of the dash under of the steering wheel.

It doesn't completely turn off TC/ ESP though as far as I'm aware (although that could be my lack of driving skill).

Kido_tuning might know more about this though because apparently, my car has an unusual ECU (a fairly rare one) which is why it may have this switch.

yardman and yourself both have the same H6 5EAT ECU, hence why I know it could be fitted. Mick and bokchoy also have it as a comparison.

It can be wired in, I am tracing back where it joins the main loom asap

Getting a part number from Subaru but it plugs into the loom right near the steering column and by the looks of it, is atleast all 06 onwards H6's
