Best place to buy a Cosworth or HKS filter

Postby jay.ritchie » Mon Feb 25, 2013 8:26 am

Searched some posts and i've decided on either of these, but i can't find a good store.

A seller on eBay from Japan is selling the HKS's for $70 shipped.
Is that fair or can i do better?

I've been told that tuspeed.com is a good place to go, but i'm not sure which COSWORTH filter fits!

This is the correct filter size for the OE airbox.

The HKS doesn't appear to seal as affectively in the box allowing dust to foul the MAF sensor. I think a few people of the forums, such as BBB and Dan have resorted to added an extra gasket to the filter to help.

+1 to that... I cleaned my MAF a few weeks ago and pulled it out a few days ago to find it covered in a fine dust... :x

It's an easy fix for the HKS one. Just make sure you spend the 15 minutes to actually do it :)

Sounds like it would be easier spending a bit more $$ and going for a Cosworth?
