Genome Mufflers finally fitted!! ( pics added)

Postby Egg » Tue Feb 26, 2008 6:21 pm

Finally I got the mufflers today and have just finished fitting them and just came back from taking it for a test drive up the road.

Its nice as its not droning down low and just a nice soft note. When you boot it sounds weird,(may need time to get used to it) probably sounds better outside of the car though.

The only thing that shocked me when I opened the box was how big the tips were, I didnt think they were that big, so I hope it doesnt make me look like a knob. Apart from that pretty easy as these were the easiest mufflers I have ever had to replace.
:D :D :D :!:

If it's new, you will need some time for the inside of the mufflers to be coated with carbon to mellow out the sound.

If you push them up a bit further they will look even better.

Wow, even though it's only a few mm higher, it does make quite the visual difference!

Looks integrated with the car rather than something attached to it if that makes any sense.
