Sorry guys-engine whine.. Again

New to liberty's and new to the forums
I'm a proud new owner of a 2006 Subaru liberty 3.0R. It's done 73000 k's and goes like stink on a monkey! Anyway I have noticed the nitorious very slight whine under throttle. Did not pick this up on test drive but noticed it solo driving on a quiet road. Now I've sifted through the forum and seen that this could be perfectly normal but just wanted a heads up as its got 3 months warranty. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I will def's be posting up some pics in the intro thread once the monsoon season outside in Sydney decides its over
