Outback bonnet on a Liberty...

Postby Kagetsu » Tue Feb 19, 2008 12:19 pm

I know some people don't like the bonnets, but personally, I think they'd look fantastic on a Liberty with the twin bulges. Has anybody fitted one before?

I thought about it.... and I think it would look nice, but only if I had a NA.

But seriously love the two grooves running down the side....

Imagine a massive FMIC with that bonnet... Nice!!!

I would still prefer the GT bonnet even if i had a fmic. Gives it ore character and its like a signature difference with most other on the road.

Unless i had a 3RB, then that would look awesome.

Speaking of bonnets - are pre-facelift and post-facelift bonnets the same?

I think they would be after looking at it... Maybe minor differences (did the pre facelift have squirters under the bonnet or on top?)
The only real changes were the lights, bars and front side panels.

Pre-facelift didn't come with Xenons as a factory option in Australia. The JDM ones don't have squirters either.

That's true.
what, so even under the lip of the hood it can't squirt the windows? Surely not. ^_^' (PS: just refering to the shape of the hood in reference, there are many other changes though. ^_~)
